Twentieth Century Fox Television and Twentieth Century Fox Film have partnered with Glee creator Ryan Murphy to produce Glee Live! 3D!, somewhat like a documentary film of the blockbuster Glee Live! In Concert! North American tour. The film will only be released for a special two-week limited engagement and it will hit in movie theaters nationwide on August 12, 2011. Starring the regular casts of Glee including Lea Michelle, Cory Monteith, Amber Riley, Chris Colfer, Kevin McHale, Jenna Ushkowitz, Dianna Agron, Nava Rivera, Heather Morris, Harry Shum, Chord Overstreet, Darren Chris and many others, the film is under the directions of Kevin Tancharoen and it is distributed by 20th Century Fox.
