Oz the Great and Powerful

OZ: The Great and Powerful is a fantasy film that is an indirect prequel to the 1993 film, The Wizard of Oz and to the novel of BaumÂ The Wonderful Wizard of Oz (1900). It stars James Franco as the main character of the story, Oscar (or also known as Oz in the circus),Â Mila Kunis,Â Zach Braff, Bill Cobbs, and Joey King. The film revolves around the story of Oscar Diggs and his adventures in the land of Oz where great and powerful witches and wizards where war between them is about to begin. Oscar who is a small time magician in a circus, must try to become a powerful wizard too and maybe later become a much better person than his life from the past in the circus. The movie was directed by Sam Raimi (Drag Me to Hell, Spider-Man 1 to 3).
